8 Tips on How to Improve Your Fitness, Happiness and Health

Learning how to improve your fitness, happiness and health is important, because we all want high-quality lives. I am not just talking about having a lot of money, a nice house and a nice car. All of that is worth nothing if you aren't healthy and feeling good.

I have personally overcome many health problems through natural methods and by living a healthy and good lifestyle, you can prevent the majority of diseases from happening in the first place. With all that said, here are 7 great tips on how you can improve your fitness, happiness and health:

1. Avoid Diets. There are thousands of books on dieting on the shelves today. Most of them do not work and if they do, you will have a hard time keeping the weight off once you come off them. The answer is to change your lifestyle.

2. Eliminate Processed Foods. Cookies, candy bars, sodas, pizzas and hamburgers. You name it. They're all processed and they contain a ton of junk that your body just does not need. Try asking yourself what the healthy alternative would be and start taking small steps towards a healthier life.

3. Make Goals. Putting up your goals is important. It is also important that your goals are achievable. Otherwise your subconscious will not believe you and will try to sabotage your efforts. This may sound weird but it is true!

4. Eat Fat! Now don't get me wrong. You should eat fat, but it should be the healthy kind, such as omega-3 fish oil and so on. It is recommended that you keep your fat levels around 10-15% of your total calories. This has been proven by one of the largest studies in history: The China Study.

5. Check Out Fruits. Fruits are packed with nutrients and healthy carbohydrates that will keep your body healthy and happy for a long time to come. Eat as much fruits as you can, take them as a snack and even switch out a meal and eat a huge amount of fruit, you'll feel great!

6. Sleep Well. Getting your zzz's in is essential to your health. If you aren't getting enough sleep you will have problems with your hormones, brain and so on. Around 6-8 hours is good depending on your body.

7. Exercise Unconventionally. A lot of people hate exercising so why not do it in a way that you like? Do it in an unconventional way. If you like dancing then dance your pounds away and keep your heart healthy.

8. Get Your Vitamins. Scientists have found that a large amount of people are deficient in at least one nutrient. This goes for healthy people too. The reason is because our food supply is not as nutritious as it once used to be, so make sure you have a good multivitamin handy!
